IABPAD SUBMISSION

Abstracts, work-in-progress and complete papers are invited for presentation in any of the topic areas listed below. Also, other topic areas related to business may be considered. Cross-disciplinary submissions are encouraged. Papers, detailed abstracts, or work-in-progress accepted for presentation will be published in the Conference Proceedings (in CD-Rom format). One of the authors on each submission (abstract, work-in-progress, complete paper) must register for the paper to be included in the Proceedings. The registration fee (non-refundable) is $275 per person and $175 for a full-time student. No more than three papers are allowed per author. The fee for each additional paper is $150. Non-attending co-authors may obtain a copy of the proceedings for $25. All attending conference participants must pay the registration fee.

Please note that by submitting an abstract, work-in-progress, or a complete paper you are certifying that the work is original, is not being considered for publication elsewhere, has not been accepted for publication or previously published, and is not copyrighted.

The IABPAD provides a form documenting certain hours of participation for participants seeking continuing professional education ( CPE ). 

The conference provides opportunities for participants from business and related fields to attend, present their research, and interact with members from inside and outside their own areas of specialization. PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING DEADLINES

1- Submission of abstracts, work-in-progress, or complete papers: January 20, 2009.
2- Registration: February 10, 2009.

3-Final-formatted versions of abstracts, work-in-progress, or complete papers for the conference proceedings should be received on or before February 10, 2009.

GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSIONS OF ABSTRACTS, WORK -IN-PROGRESS, AND PAPERS FOR REVIEW

Abstracts, work-in-progress, and complete papers should be submitted in Microsoft Word, with a 12-point font. All work-in-progress and papers must not exceed 20 pages, double space. The format of submission is not important at this stage. However, the following information should be included:

  • Submission Title
  • Name of Author (s)
  • Affiliation(s)
  • E-mail Address (es)
  • Name of Contact Author and Mailing Address
  • Appropriate Track (s)

OUTSTANDING PAPER AWARD

Some presented papers may receive Conference best paper awards, as determined by referees, and may be published in the Journal of Business and Public Administration (IJBPA) , International Journal of Business and Economics Perspectives (IJBEP), International Journal of Education Research (IJER) or International Journal of Business, Accounting and Finance

(IJBAF).  Information regarding publication in the journal will be provided after the meeting.
