ABSTRACT

The flipped classroom is a well-established methodology of moving lectures to an online format and using classroom time for instructor-facilitated exercises. An introductory accounting course is conducive to flipping because most of the learning occurs while working through graduated exercises. This study addresses this question: Does the lecture delivery format affect student learning and student satisfaction?
